Why Choose My RespCo Mask Kits?
Built by a Respiratory Therapist, priced for real patients โ not insurance reimbursement rates.
๐
No Prescription โ Legally
Our products are sold as unassembled kits. Components (cushion, frame, headgear) sold separately do not require an Rx under FDA regulations. Assemble yourself in 30 seconds.
๐ฐ
Fraction of Retail Cost
DME suppliers mark up CPAP masks 200โ400% to cover insurance billing overhead. We sell direct-to-patient, so you pay cost-plus โ not retail-plus-insurance-plus-markup.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you order.
โผ
It depends on the product. A fully assembled, ready-to-use CPAP mask is classified as a Class II medical device and typically requires a prescription. However, our products are sold as unassembled kits โ individual components (cushion, frame, headgear) packaged together but not assembled. Under FDA guidelines, replacement parts and unassembled components do not carry the same Rx requirement, making our kits legally available over the counter. You simply snap the parts together at home in about 30 seconds.
โผ
Yes โ all our masks use the universal 22mm standard connection, which is compatible with virtually every CPAP, APAP, and BiPAP machine on the market, including ResMed AirSense 10 & 11, Philips DreamStation (where available), Fisher & Paykel SleepStyle, and all other major brands. If you're unsure, call or text us at 706-772-0263 and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.

DME (Durable Medical Equipment) suppliers bill insurance companies at inflated rates โ often 3โ5ร the actual product cost โ to cover their overhead, compliance staff, and billing departments. You pay those inflated prices even when you're paying out of pocket. We are a direct-to-patient supplier, meaning we eliminate all that overhead and pass the savings to you. Our $39.99 full face mask kit would cost $100โ$180 through a traditional DME or hospital supply company.
โผ
Nasal masks (including nasal pillows) only cover your nose. They're lighter, less claustrophobic, and ideal if you're a nose breather or prefer a minimal seal. Full face masks cover both your nose and mouth โ they're essential if you breathe through your mouth during sleep or tend to open your mouth with a nasal mask. They also provide a more secure seal at higher pressure settings. Not sure which is right for you? Call us โ our RT can help you decide based on your pressure settings and sleeping position.
โผ
Medicare and most insurance guidelines recommend replacing your full mask every 3 months and cushions/pillows every 1โ2 months. However, you should replace sooner if you notice: reduced seal causing pressure leaks, cracked or hardened silicone, persistent odor even after cleaning, or if the mask no longer holds pressure. Since our kits are priced 50โ60% below retail, frequent replacement is actually affordable โ which is how it should be.
โผ
Yes! CPAP masks, tubing, and accessories are eligible FSA/HSA expenses. You can use your FSA or HSA card at checkout just like a regular credit card. If your FSA administrator requires a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), our licensed Respiratory Therapist can provide one โ contact us and we'll take care of it.
โผ
Most of our mask kits are designed as universal or multi-size kits (e.g., our nasal pillow kit includes S/M/L sizes so you can try all three). For masks with a single size option, we recommend measuring your face according to the size guide on the product page, or simply call/text us at 706-772-0263. As a respiratory therapy company, we'll help you get the right fit the first time.
โผ
Yes โ this is one of our biggest differentiators. My RespCo is owned by a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT). We offer RT consultations for mask fitting, pressure troubleshooting, and CPAP therapy optimization. If you're a trucker or commercial driver who needs a prescription quickly, our RT can write one after a brief phone call โ no waiting for a doctor's appointment.
